U.S. NAVY

Information Session

Bronx campus

Thursday, January 20th 12:15

Room T/B/A

Recruiters from the Navy will come to discuss opportunities to become Naval Officers upon graduation from the Bachelors Program.

OCS: The 12 week OCS course is designed to give you a working knowledge of the Navy, to prepare you to assume the responsibilities of a Naval Officer, and to begin developing you to your fullest potential. The school’s curriculum will demand the most of your academic prowess. Mental training involves memorization of military knowledge, academic courses, and military inspections. Physical training (PT) begins immediately upon arrival at OCS. You must be committed to the goal of earning a commission as an Ensign in the Navy before arriving at Officer Candidate School.

ROTC: It takes just two things to succeed in college: academic performance…and money. All too often it’s money that gets in the way of graduation.

The Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) Scholarship Program can solve the monetary problem – offering up to $180,000 for tuition plus a host of other advantages.

Students that successfully complete ROTC begin Ensigns in the Navy.
