Part-time Job Fairs

In the first week of October the Bronx and New Rochelle OCA offices each held part-time Job Fairs for current students. Tuesday, October 2nd, 13 companies attended the New Rochelle event in Syndicate Hall, including Leafstone Staffing, HSBC, UPS, Abigail Kirsch Catering and various local employers. Approximately 100 professionally attired students brought their resumes, filled out application forms and arranged interviews. Two days later on October 4th the Bronx part – time job fair was held in the King Hall gymnasium. Approximately 25 companies came to the Bronx to recruit students for part – time job opportunities. In addition to local employers, large national companies including Kraft, H&R Block, AT&T, and the U.S. Army and Air Force participated. Approximately 500 students attended, and many left with new jobs!
