We at Blackboard Mobile are interested in maximizing accessibility for our apps, and so we have put our best foot forward with each platform. The accessibility of our apps leverages the mobile platforms' accessibility controls to offer an accessible experience for visually-impaired users.
We know that there is always room for improvement, and would like to take this opportunity to solicit your feedback. If you are visually-impaired or have any feedback on the accessibility of our apps, please submit your comments here.

If you have the latest Blackboard Mobile Learn app for Android or iOS (iPhone/iPod touch or iPad), you can create a custom list of courses and organizations in Favorites. Using Favorites you will be able to search and filter your courses, and order them however you want!
If you are seeing courses in the Blackboard Mobile Learn app you have completed, the instructor or your school's Blackboard administrator would need to set these courses as unavailable in order for them not to display within the app. Unfortunately, this change cannot be made from the Blackboard Mobile Learn app itself.
If you are using the latest iOS or Android Blackboard Mobile Learn app, you do have the option to select courses as Favorites by clicking the outline of a star next to each course. Doing so will enable you to view only the courses you want to see by clicking the Favorites button at the bottom of the app.
Yes! You can update Blogs, Discussions, Journals, Announcements* and other content items* from your mobile device. If you are using the latest app for Android or iOS, you can also upload attachments with your updates!

* Note: Posting Announcements and some other functionality is only available to instructor-level roles.
With version 2.2 of Blackboard Mobile Learn, we added the ability to open attachments with third party apps, such as Dropbox, iBooks, or others. The iOS file structure does not allow saving files to the device directly, but this functionality will allow you to save files to these third party apps so you can view them later.

Yes! If you have the latest Blackboard Mobile Learn app for Android, you can add a widget to your home screen which will show the latest announcements for your courses.
To use the widget:
- Download and install the latest Blackboard Mobile Learn app for Android.
- Log in to your institution via the app.
- Press and hold (long press) a space on your Android home screen where you want to add the widget. (Note that the widget is relatively large, so you need to have a good amount of space free.)
- In the presented menu, choose "Widget".
- In the next menu, scroll until you find, then select "Mobile Learn Dashboard".
- Enjoy! If your widget ever tells you to log-in, simply click on the widget to enter the app and log in to your account to re-activate the widget.
Viewing a course you are enrolled in as a guest is not supported on the Blackboard Mobile Learn app. Courses on Blackboard you are enrolled in as a guest can be viewed from a web browser on a computer.
Yes! The Blackboard Mobile Learn app syncs with your institution’s Blackboard servers so that any updates made from your mobile device are reflected on the normal Blackboard site, and vice versa.
This may be due to a decision that was made by your institution.
If the Grades feature is enabled, then you should be able to select the desired course and see 'Grades' in the Course Map where 'Announcements' and 'Assignments' are located. Some institutions disable this feature so that grades can only be seen after a certain date.
If you are interested in the configuration of the Grades feature at your institution, we would like to suggest that you contact your institution's help desk for more information.
In the latest versions of the Android and iOS apps you can refresh course information by choosing the refresh option in the menu (Android) or pressing the refresh button in the top right of the course map (iOS). On all platforms, you can manually refresh by logging out of the app and logging back in. Refreshing should display all new content in the app. To limit data requirements, the Blackboard Mobile Learn apps will cache information while you are logged in.
If this doesn't resolve your issue, please contact our Support team within your app or Here, and we will be happy to help.
