Student Health Services
The dedicated staff of the Student Health Services Office on the New Rochelle campus is committed to caring, competent, compassionate and confidential treatment of our students. Our nurse practitioner, registered nurse, counselor and medical assistant are available on weekdays and the medical doctor is on campus weekly. When necessary, students are referred to other professionals for specific screening, consultation or treatment. Immunizations are available for a nominal fee, and flu vaccines are offered at no charge. Physical examinations are offered as needed, but annual sports physicals are mandatory prior to practice or competition. Residential students have on-going access to first-aid and emergency care.
The Student Health Services Office helps students access an array of services, including immunizations, a variety of medical clinics (including STD), Pharmacy Services, counseling, and health education.
The office supports student academic success through promotion of healthy living. Along with caring for students at times of illness, the office fosters prevention and education as a means of staying healthy. Some health education topics include nutrition, time management, conflict resolution, and stress that can be brought on by the pressures of everyday college life.
Students are urged to visit the Student Health Services Office in Constable Hall at 466 Main Street, New Rochelle with any questions about health and or needed services.
Note: All health services are confidential. Access to student records is limited to authorized Student Health Services providers only.
