Monroe College Chapter National Society of Leadership and Success

The Office of Student Activities held an induction ceremony on Tuesday, April 9th in King Hall Gym to officially welcome 137 students to the National Society of Leadership and Success. The society which can be found in over 300 colleges and universities was introduced to Monroe College in August of 2012.

The students began fulfilling their requirements in October and have been looking forward to induction ever since. In attendance for this special ceremony was President Jerome, who was also the keynote speaker. He encouraged the students to keep on doing their best and also shared various tips on what action steps they should take to be a great leader. The Vice President for Student Affairs, Dean Greenberg congratulated the students and also shared her words of encouragement.

Special awards were presented to President Jerome, Dean Greenberg and Professor Smith for their continuous dedication and commitment to the students. The climax of the evening was when Ms. Saint Fleur officially announced the students as not only official inducted members of the society but moreover as the funding members for the Monroe College Chapter. The induction ceremony came to an end with Ms. Saint Fleur, the advisor of the society giving her closing remarks. She shared some motivational quotes with the students and encouraged them to stay involved with the society.

The Student Activities Office would like to thank everyone who made the induction ceremony a success. Congratulations to the funding members of the Monroe College Chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success. Invitation for membership will be distributed in the fall semester.
