Students wishing to apply for TAP must first file the FAFSA (Free Application For Student Aid), listing the New York State schools they are applying to or planning to attend. Students who are NYS residents and whose parents are NYS residents can use the FAFSA confirmation page to link to TAP before logging out of the FAFSA. You may also go to www.tapweb.org to apply.
The deadline to complete your TAP application is May 1 for the current award year.
