A Significant Tuition Discount

Because your corporation or institution is a corporate partner with Monroe College, you are entitled to a Corporate partnership grant that may be up to 20% off tuition each semester.  This grant is available to you whether you study part time or full time, online or on-campus.

Real World Education

Since its founding in 1933, Monroe College has emphasized real-world understanding as a key element of a student's academic journey. The college combines innovative academics with a signature internship program, experiential learning and in some cases a study abroad program.

This unique learning environment provides students with an education like no other. The incorporation of course work and real-world experience develops students' critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills while introducing them to new perspectives in their fields. As a result, undergraduates and graduates are better prepared for the success in their careers and ultimately, in life.

Finding the Time

For many of our Adult students that have either waited to begin or complete their degree program, finding the time to attend classes may often be a hurdle.  That’s why Monroe has developed a number of schedules designed to help students attend class while maintaining career and family commitments.  Although all classes are not available all of the time, Monroe's scheduling options means that for most people they can find a schedule that fits their life. Students who work full-time can attend class a few nights a week and on the weekend.   Students can select from any combination of day, evening, and weekend classes. Of course, Online classes allow students the flexibility to attend class at any time of the day or night.

Generous Transfer Policy

Monroe provides students with an opportunity to earn credit in a variety of ways including:  credits earned at a prior institution, examinations and life experience.  Students may also earn credit if they were in the military or attended Police or Correctional Training Academies.  To learn more about Monroe’s transfer policy and the process for evaluating transcripts go to: XYZ.

Our Programs

Students have the opportunity to earn a degree in some of the fastest growing fields through one of our seven schools.  Monroe also offers students the opportunity to specialize in a specific area by earning either a concentration or minor.  Whatever you choose, you’ll know that you’ll be both challenged and supported by a group of professors that often come from industry and have a singular focus of making sure that you are academically successful.

Accelerated Learning

Unlike most colleges, which award a Baccalaureate degree after completion of four years, Monroe has a three-semester calendar that provides you the opportunity to complete your degree more quickly than at another institution.

Convenient Locations

Our campuses provide for a wide range of experiences for students.  Our Bronx campus provides commuting students with a bustling urban environment and a convenient location located near major public transportation routes.  Our New Rochelle campus offers students the opportunity to live on-campus or commute in our lovely downtown suburban campus just a 30 minute train ride from grand Central Station in New York City.  Finally, we offer a St. Lucia campus that provides a more convenient campus for our Caribbean students to earn a degree from Monroe.

Accreditation

Monroe College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.   The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
