Welcome to MyMonroe 2.0!

Part of the red carpet that’s welcoming new students and upperclassmen back to Monroe College this fall is an incredible new web portal – MyMonroe 2.0. A major step-up from the MyMonroe that the college community has been using extensively, the beautifully-presented MyMonroe 2.0 has been custom-designed with increased speed, new color schemes, more personalized options and exciting new gadgets.

To begin with, MyMonroe 2.0 is a single sign-on that provides access to your academic support systems including the Angel E-Learning system, WebAdvisor, and your Monroe College e-mail. In fact, you will now be able to access Monroe College’s Facebook App through MyMonroe 2.0.

There’s also an ingenious application called ConnectYard that’s been incorporated into MyMonroe 2.0 that’s expected to revolutionize student communication options, allowing students to input a preferred method of contact whether cell phone, text messaging, Facebook messaging, e-mail messaging or a tweet to your Twitter account.

“MyMonroe 2.0 has been created with the needs of the Monroe student in mind,” said Director of Software Engineering Wilson Polanco who worked with a dedicated team of IT professionals to develop MyMonroe 2.0. “To succeed in this fast-paced world, students need information, resources, and communication at their fingertips. Now they have it.”

Here’s how to get started:

• To log into MyMonroe 2.0: Go to: https://mymonroe.monroecollege.edu/

• Log in with your username and password and be on our way to the Monroe College information network.

• Please note that your current settings will be lost, such as gadget selections, gadget location and skin selection.
