Members of the Monroe College Alumni Board met for a festive holiday dinner at the new Dining Lab at the New Rochelle Campus. Everyone was amazed at the changes that had taken place . . . from the new dorm being built to the transformation of the College cafeteria into an upscale gourmet restaurant and pastry café. The restaurant is currently a popular gathering spot for members of the Monroe College community as well as neighborhood patrons.
Ameil Sloley, a former Monroe student and local resident, stated: “I can’t believe we have this restaurant so close to my area. This is a great place to bring my family and friends!” The Alumni Board members meet several times a year and are actively involved in all activities of the Alumni Association. They have established the successful chapter of the Toastmaster’s Club, which meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month in New Rochelle.
