New Year’s Resolutions traditionally focus on self-improvement and many are including Monroe College in their plans for 2008. With a Midnight Madness event that keeps college registration open until midnight on Thursday, January 3, it’s never been easier or more convenient to take that first step in making a commitment to change your life for the better. “It’s becoming clear that in 2008 more adults will be coming back to school than ever before,” noted Director of Admissions Evan Jerome. “So we’re keeping our doors open late into the evening on Thursday of the first week of the year, to simply help people make their dreams of a college education come true.” Monroe will be debuting a new completely online Hospitality degree program beginning in January and of course, there are also first rate programs in Criminal Justice, Allied Health Sciences, Information Technology, Business and Accounting, and the Culinary Arts, all of which are designed to help launch careers and ultimately, change people’s lives for the better. True, there’s no better time than the present,” Mr. Jerome said. “But at Monroe we’re always looking to the future and that means, beginning with the first day of the New Year, we want to help people resolve to take that important first step and register for college.” |
