Each semester different international faculty members come to Saint Lucia to teach for the entire semester.This is in addition to local faculty members that bring years of industry experience.This means that students that study at Monroe are able to get both a local and international perspective on their academic studies.
This is the same college degree that you would obtain if you attended college at one of our campuses in New York.
Students that begin their studies at Monroe College in Saint Lucia always have the opportunity to study in New York for one or more semesters or complete their degree online.We encourage students to develop an academic program that fits their needs and challenges them to grow both academically and personally.
Monroe recognizes that many students will be working full time while they attend school. That is why classes will be primarily held in the evening.
Monroe accepts credits earned from Sir Arthur Lewis, as well as many other colleges in the Caribbean.Students must have earned a grade of at least a “C” or better and the class must fit within the program requirements. Monroe is looking for students that have demonstrated a solid academic performance at the High School level through the completion of 5 CXC’s and/or have outstanding work experiences.Students looking to apply should submit an application, High School transcript with CXC’s and an essay.Additionally, all applicants are required to interview with the Saint Lucia Campus Director.
There is an application fee of EC 95 that should accompany your application and other admissions requirements.
