Public Partners Scholarship (PBPS)
Students with Associate Degrees from local public community colleges with GPAs of at least 3.00 may receive this award.The award continues up through the completion of undergraduate studies and a cumulative GPA of 3.25 must be maintained.Students must complete an application and essay to be considered for this award. The range of awards is as follows:

awards up to $2,500 per semester |
(Maximum $7,500 for three semesters)

(Maximum of $9,000 for three semesters)

Determination of actual award amount will be determined by the difference between the student’s grants and the cost of tuition, fees and up to $400 in books.

Part-time Status for Scholarship students
Scholarship students, other than International students, who go from full-time to part-time, will receive a pro-rated scholarship for their part-time semester, but will not be eligible for the scholarship the semester following their part-time status. Scholarship students who are in their last semester and will be part-time will receive a pro-rated scholarship.
- All scholarships are originally awarded based on full-time enrollment status.
- Students who enter the college as Bachelor students may not receive the Baccalaureate Scholarship until they have completed their Associate Degree requirements or earned a minimum of 60 credits. At that time, they will receive the Baccalaureate Scholarship if they have the required cumulative GPA of 3.75.
- Students may only receive one scholarship funded by Monroe College
- Scholarship Appeals: Students may appeal the loss of their scholarship by contacting the Director of Student Financial Services at the appropriate campus. Documentation supporting the appeal will be required before any decision is made. At that time the appeal process will be discussed.
