Part-time Status for Scholarship students

Scholarship students, other than International students, who go from full-time to part-time, will receive a pro-rated scholarship for their part-time semester, but will not be eligible for the scholarship the semester following their part-time status. Scholarship students who are in their last semester and will be part-time will receive a pro-rated scholarship.

  • All scholarships are originally awarded based on full-time enrollment status.
  • Students who enter the college as Bachelor students may not receive the Baccalaureate Scholarship until they have completed their Associate Degree requirements or earned a minimum of 60 credits. At that time, they will receive the Baccalaureate Scholarship if they have the required cumulative GPA of 3.75.
  • Students may only receive one merit scholarship funded by Monroe College
  • Scholarship Appeals: Students may appeal the loss of their scholarship by contacting the Director of Student Financial Services at the appropriate campus. Documentation supporting the appeal will be required before any decision is made. At that time the appeal process will be discussed.
