This scholarship will be awarded to two currently enrolled Bronx Campus accounting major students at Monroe College each year in the Fall semester in the amount of $500 per semester to help cover the cost of tuition, books and supplies while attending Monroe College. Students must have 75 college credits at the time of application, must be an existing accounting major pursuing a bachelor’s degree and a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above.  A short essay will be required as part of the application process. Applications must be submitted by August 31 of the academic year.  Recipients will be determined by the Bachelor’s Degree Program Office.

Awarded in the Fall semester for the Study Abroad Program to culinary students who demonstrate an excellence in the culinary arts. The scholarship will be awarded each fall semester and may be up to $8,000.  The student must be a culinary major, have completed at least 45 credits, have a GPA in their major of 3.5, provide two letters of recommendation, one academic and one personal, as well as complete a personal interview and a culinary practical examination.  A student’s enrollment in this or any study abroad program approved for credit by the home institution may be considered enrollment at the home institution for the purposes of applying for assistance under the Title IV programs.
