Career opportunities for criminal justice professionals continue to increase as does the demand for the Master's degree credential. For example, most federal entry-level jobs such as working with Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, Drug Enforcement, Internal Revenue Service, Department of Justice, and Secret Service now require a college degree and either one year of investigative experience or one year of graduate school. Also, to keep up with contemporary initiatives, the federal government is expanding its Border Patrol and Customs Enforcement divisions. These provide other career options for criminal justice professionals with a Master's degree. |
