About the Monroe College Libraries

Monroe College has libraries at its Bronx and New Rochelle campuses. Both facilities include comfortable, well-equipped work areas in an atmosphere that encourages concentrated learning and studying. The libraries provide state-of-the-art computer workstations for doing Internet research and preparing assignments. They house scholarly collections in print while also providing an online gateway linked to information sources all over the world. Librarians and staff are ready to help identify, locate, use, and evaluate the information resources needed and provide the technological support to access all available resources.

The libraries' electronic resources are selected for quality and their ability to support the research areas of all Monroe College academic programs. Electronic databases provide articles in full-text from thousands of magazines, journals, newspapers and periodicals.

To Find Articles in Journals:  Electronic Databases

You can find Tutorials, Pathfinders and Style Guides to assist you with all your research. Links to helpful web sites are researched and selected by the librarians. Guides for research are arranged by subject area, so you can find help for research assignments in all your courses.  You can also find guides for citing sources in several different styles.  We are always on the lookout for new or additional online resources, and we keep our guides accurate and up-to-date by regularly evaluating and verifying the authenticity and currency of the sites we provide.
