Located on the lower level of Jerome Hall, the Thomas P. Schnitzler Library is the Grand Central Station of information at Monroe College. Monroe also has libraries at its New Rochelle and St. Lucia campuses with shared resources.
The libraries are open to the students, staff, faculty, and alumni of Monroe College. The collections support the curricula and academic programs of the College and include over 50,000 volumes, print periodicals, and electronic resources. Computers are available for Internet research, word processing, and scanning and wireless is available throughout campus.
To search the library’s holdings, search MoeCat, the online catalog for all campus libraries.
You can also use MoeCat to look up eBooks but to view the eBooks, please log into MyMonroe (see Electronic Resources below).
Electronic Resources
The library also subscribes to a number of Electronic Resources for finding full-text scholarly and peer-reviewed journal articles, e-books, encyclopedias, business information, scholarships, and much more. The databases are accessible from anywhere on campus or by logging in remotely to MyMonroe. |
