Conducted primarily online so that working professionals have the opportunity to take advantage of the program, the M.S. in Executive Leadership in Hospitality Management will include two-week residencies at the beginning and end of the program. These sessions will allow participants to build relationships and share issues they are currently facing in their industry and at the same time experience real world situations first-hand that will enhance their studies.
The program is designed for working professionals. Students will be required to do two, two-week residencies in consecutive Augusts in which 12 credits will be completed. An additional 21 credits will be completed online in the Fall, Winter and Spring semesters. An additional 3 credits are earned through the development of a prior learning experience (PLE) portfolio, the successful completion of which will result in 3 earned PLE credits, making 36 credits the total number required for completion of the program---completed at an accelerated pace in one calendar year beginning in August.
