When you log into the Angel course management system using the link below, you will be prompted to type your User Name & Password (which is the same as your college email account).

Students who plan on purchasing their textbooks online are required to set-up a bookstore account. Be sure to use your Monroe College email address and create a password (that you would remember). Please go to:

Full time Online Learning students should contact Ms. Johnson at 718 933 6700 ext. 8260

Online Learning students must login to each of their Online Learning courses a minimum of 3 times per week to be considered in attendance.

Monday-Friday

Students are encouraged to communicate directly with their professor regarding their course work.   If the professor is unavailable, contact the Online learning office at (718) 933-6700 Ext. 8592 

To begin, follow these steps to create your Smarthinking account:

Free Online tutoring is available to full-time Online students through our partner Smarthinking.

Your course access may be disabled if you have a hold, whether academic or financial.  To enable your registered online course, contact the Online Learning Department for more information at 718-933-6700 x 8592.

You may contact your professor via the Angel course room email.  Some professors may provide additional contact information.   If you are experiencing problems reaching your professor, please contact the Dean of Academic Technology Ms. Jacinth Coultman at 718 (933) 6700 ext.  8287

Generally, midterms are scheduled during week-eight or week-nine of the semester. Your professor will notify you regarding the details of oyur midterm, including the length of the exam and the date it will be available Online through Course Announcements in the ANGEL Communicate Tab, the Lessons Tab, or in the Calendar Tab. 

In the middle of the semester you will receive an email asking you about your academic plans for the next semester from Online advisor Ms. Simone Senhouse. She can be reached at ssenhouse@monroecollege.edu or 718 933 6700 ext. 8595.

Full Online Learning students should contact Ms. Ann Torres, at 718-933-6700 ext. 8245 or via email at atorres@monroecollege.edu.

You must contact your Online professor directly about any issues related to grades. All change of grades must be completed within the first two weeks of the following semester.

Full Online Learning students can change from online to onsite within the first two weeks of the semester if there is course availability.  Students should contact their online student services advisor at ssenhouse@monroecollege.edu with a request.

Students with holds are not able to register for the next semester and must clear these holds beforehand.  To avoid delays in registration for the next semester Online students with any holds should contact their advisor at ssenhouse@monroecollege.edu or 718 933 6700 ext. 8598

Please send a head-shot photo of yourself to Ms. Juliet N. Grant at jgrant@monroecollege.edu and she will mailed a student ID to you within two weeks.
