Tuition & Financial Aid
Parents are often understandably concerned about being able to pay for their child's college education. But what many don't realize is that numerous financial aid and scholarship programs exist to help lower costs. Parents and students rarely have to pay the full tuition amount. Nonetheless, Monroe College is among the most affordable private colleges in the New York City area.
Financial aid programs include the Federal Pell Grant program, the New York State Tuition Assistance Program and the federal government-backed Stafford Student Loan program. The vast majority of Monroe students receive an aid package that includes a combination of all of those programs.
Your child will be carefully guided by expert financial aid counselors who will ensure that he or she receives the best aid package possible. Your cooperation may be needed.
