Online Admissions and Aid
Every year, we welcome hundreds of students, both in NYC and around the country — to join our online program. And we’re excited to learn a little bit more about you — and your interest in Monroe! We make applying as easy (and painless) as possible, with three steps:
Step 1: Submit an Online Application & Personal Essay
Complete an online application, which includes a personal essay about why you want to earn your degree at Monroe and what you hope to do once you graduate.
Step 2: Upload Your Academic Credentials Paperwork
We will need your:
- High school transcript and diploma (or GED scores)
- Official academic transcripts from prior institutions you
have attended
Step 3: Admissions Interview
We want to get to know the real you. The you behind the electronic application. During a short interview, you’ll connect with an admissions counselor to discuss your educational goals, career aspirations, and outside interests. But don’t worry, you don’t need to come to NYC (unless you want to!) Online students can conduct their interview over the phone.
Step 4: Pay Your Admissions Fee
- Pay your $35 Admissions Fee online.
Financial Aid
We understand that the cost of a college education can seem overwhelming. It doesn’t have to be! Monroe is among the lowest-cost private colleges in the country. We’ll work with you, personally, to make sure that you receive any grants or scholarships that you might qualify for including special grants that we offer for:
- Transfer Students
- International Students
- Corporate Partners
- Veterans
