    Welcome to the Fall 2017 semester at Monroe College. We are delighted that you’re joining us. 

    Your Student Services office is responsible for assisting you on your path towards graduation. Our advisors will provide you with individualized and personalized support, with a special emphasis on the resources and skills you need to reach your academic and career goals. To start you off, we have organized an orientation program with social activities and informational programs to help you get acclimated to the college. Below, you will find schedules for the freshmen, transfer and readmitted students, and graduate students. Please carefully review the schedule that pertains to your program.

    Overnight Camping Trip

    Meet at King Hall 

    Bond with your classmates and your advisors during an overnight camping trip full of fun, team-building experiences. The trip is mandatory.

    Textbook Pickup

    Come pick up your textbook bundles and make sure you have everything in order for the Fall semester. 

    Athletic Orientation

    During this ceremony, you will officially become part of the Monroe College community and have the opportunity to sign the Commit to Complete banner, symbolizing your commitment to earning your degree.

    Meet with your academic advisors to register for your Fall classes and receive your schedule. This orientation is personalized to your needs; you’ll learn about our new majors, any transfer credits you may have, your GPA standing, and more. Special appointments can be made if you are not available during the listed times.

    Come in for one-on-one training with the technologies that you will need for your classes. Instructors will train you in using Blackboard, Web Advisor, and E-Learning.

    Come to the welcome reception and mingle with Monroe faculty, staff, and students! Meet your Academic School Dean, college administrators, and other faculty and staff, and ask them any questions you may have about the upcoming school year.
