This program is designed for high school seniors who have been accepted and authorized to begin classes at Monroe College in the Fall. These students have the opportunity to take two college classes (6 credits) for three weeks of intensive study during August, prior to the start of the Fall semester. Students participating in the program will get an early start on their college classes, helping them graduate as soon as possible.

This introductory course analyzes the nature, form and structure of business organizations and fundamental business operations such as finance, human resources, information systems, marketing, and production of goods and services.
This course offers a comprehensive examination of the American Criminal Justice System and its components, including the duties of the police, courts, corrections, and the legislative and executive branches of government at both state and federal levels.
This course covers the fundamentals of communication: audience, message and channel. Topics include interpersonal interaction, small group communication, and formal speech delivery. Students will research, organize and present several speeches to the class.
This course examines the concepts and applications of Microsoft Office. Students will learn how to integrate word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation concepts, and tools to prepare for today’s information-based business environment.
