  • Welcome to Monroe!

We are so excited you will be joining the Monroe College family this fall. We plan to help you every step of the way. Now the fun begins!

    Next Steps

    • Confirm your acceptance. Let us know you will be joining us this fall. (Confirm here)

    • Meet with Financial Aid. Schedule your appointment to meet with one of our financial aid advisors. If you will be dorming on campus, we will include all information regarding residence life as well. (Schedule Here)

    • Take your placement exams. Don’t stress. These assessments are to place you in the appropriate class. (Schedule Here)

    • Accept your scholarship or grant award. Check to see if your scholarship or grant has a confirmation deadline. We sometimes require students to formally accept their award.  Recipients of the Presidential Partnership Scholarship, for example, must confirm their scholarship no later than May 15, 2018.  Students who miss this deadline will still benefit from certain aspects of the Presidential Partnership program. Their scholarship and financial aid awards, however, may not cover all tuition expenses.

    • Make a payment. New students can pay tuition deposits, housing fees and payments all online. Alternatively, payments may be paid by check, draft, money order or credit card in person at the Bursar's Office or by mail.  Once you have completed your financial aid process, your financial advisor may offer you the opportunity to spread your educational expenses not covered by scholarships, financial aid or third-party reimbursement, with monthly installments over the course of the semester. Make your payment

Also, be sure to join our Facebook Group and follow our Instagram page for accepted students!  It will give you a chance to ask questions and connect with future classmates. Don’t forget to share your good news across social media with the hashtag #MonroeAccepted.

    Message from the President

Welcome to the Monroe College family!

I am so happy that you decided to join us this fall, and look forward to welcoming you to campus.

One of my favorite parts about being president is helping students experience new things. On any given week, you will find me taking groups of students off-campus on hiking trips, on cultural expeditions into Manhattan, or tasting new foods at fun restaurants. I hope you will accept my invitation to come out with us when it arrives in your inbox. Watch your Monroe College email!

If you’re nervous about starting college, don’t be. The staff and faculty at Monroe are like no other. They are committed to helping you succeed and will help you on your journey from freshman to college graduate.

My door is always open to you. Please stop by to say hello or to discuss any concerns. I can also be reached by phone (914-740-6803) and email (mjerome@monroecollege.edu).

Enjoy your summer. August 13th will be here before you know it!

    Sincerely,

    Marc Jerome
