Residential Life

Monroe College’s residence halls are located in close proximity to shops, neighborhood restaurants and the New Roc City entertainment and shopping complex which houses movie theaters, restaurants and an arcade. Campus housing options are within walking distance of parks and beaches that line the scenic Long Island Sound. The campus is also located close to New Rochelle’s Metro-North station, which provides easy access to New York City in just over half an hour.

Students who dorm are immediately part of a built in community.

Inside the Residences

The New Rochelle Campus is the best of both worlds. Choose from suite style dorm rooms, singles or shared apartment living.

Go Contemporary at Gaddy Hall

Our new mixed-use building, Gaddy Hall is the hub of campus life including dorm rooms, common areas, classrooms and easy access to the first floor cafeteria.

Get Traditional at Allison Hall

Allison Hall is our bright all-residence building in the heart of downtown. Our classic dorm rooms come complete with mini-fridge and there's a lounge on each floor for studying and getting social plus a computer lounge and work-out gym.

Opt for an Apartment

Apartment-style options go from singles to quads, with a full kitchen, dining area and living room. Our single modular units are loft-like spaces, six to a floor, with a shared gourmet kitchen, lounge and bathroom.
