Commencement in New York
Commencement will take place this year on Wednesday, June 9th, at 5:00 pm.
Due to ongoing concerns about the pandemic, we will host a virtual celebration. The link will be shared as we get closer to the day. We had a terrific virtual event last year, which you can watch here.
Are you waiting for your diploma?
Fall 2020 and Spring 2020 Graduates: You should have received correspondence from the Registrar's Office letting you know that your diploma is ready for delivery and the steps you need to take to have us send it to you. If you have not yet received your diploma, please send an email to degreeapplication@monroecollege.edu for assistance.

Constitution Day
Monroe is proud to celebrate Constitution Day each year with a variety of on-campus and virtual classroom discussions, special events, and other activities.
The annual celebration commemorates the signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787.
In celebrating Constitution Day, we seek to encourage debate and critical thinking on current concerns, including the right to peaceful protest, the right to vote, the right to freedom of speech, the right to equal protection under the law, and much more that culminates to make the United States of America. Together, it is our responsibility to form a more perfect union.
Our School of Criminal Justice helps program the events each year. To learn more, please reach out to Dean Guylaine Harrison at gharrison@monroecollege.edu.
To learn more about the U.S. Constitution, please visit the National Constitution Center online at https://constitutioncenter.org.
High School Programs
Election 2020
Monroe has a long, proud history of helping its students prepare for the civic responsibilities that come with adulthood. The importance of voting and being part of the political process are woven into the curriculum across all majors.
Given the importance of this election year, President Jerome has developed a series of virtual talks to help high schools turn daily headlines into teaching opportunities for their juniors and seniors. He leads the webinars himself, often with elected officials who have served our local communities in office.
Please see informational flyer here to learn more.
