    The Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation.

    Monroe College is authorized by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York to grant the following certificates and degrees:

    • Certificate in Practical Nursing;
    • Associate in Science (AS) degrees in Criminal Justice and Information Technology; Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degrees in Accounting, Baking and Pastry, Business Administration, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Information Technology, Medical Administration, Medical Assisting, Pharmacy Technician and Registered Nursing; 
    • Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education, Information Technology and Public Health;
