Substance Abuse Counseling
Given the current societal trends which focus on the increasing demand for substance abuse counselors, you will gain the skills needed to help people with addictions to alcohol and other drugs.
The Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) 30-credit program provides you with a solid foundation that can lead to career advancement in the human services and health care fields. Learn to assess level and type of addiction, identify associated life issues, and set up treatment plans. You’ll be equipped with strategies for early intervention, prevention, and treatment. Certain courses may satisfy requirements in some other undergraduate programming.
