CASAC - Substance Abuse Counseling
Given the current societal trends which focus on the increasing demand for substance abuse counselors, you will gain the skills needed to help people with addictions to alcohol and other drugs. The Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) 30-credit program provides you with a solid foundation that can lead to career advancement in the human services and health care fields. Learn to assess level and type of addiction, identify associated life issues, and set up treatment plans. You’ll be equipped with strategies for early intervention, prevention, and treatment. Certain courses may satisfy requirements in some other undergraduate programming. Satisfactory completion of the program will provide you with the opportunity to receive your CASAC-T certificate from the NYS Office of Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Services (OASAS).
Computerized Accounting
Mastering QuickBooks can take you a long way into the accounting world, as well as open up positions in branding, organization, and business. This course offers a hands-on approach to integrated accounting using computerized accounting software. It consists of several major accounting systems: general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, payroll, and end-of-period procedures. Upon completion of this course, you'll qualify to sit for the QuickBooks certification exam.
Medical Coding & Billing
Healthcare organizations are demanding trained coders and billers, and jobs are growing at a record pace. After completing your coursework, you’ll be prepared to sit for the national certification exam and earn a Certified Coding Associate (CCA) certificate. Certified Coding Associate (CCA) certification is a nationally recognized credential that can better position you for opportunities in the health field. Passing the CCA exam helps candidates separate themselves from non-credentialed health coders.

Nursing Assistant (CNA)
