Monroe’s Career Advisors
Every Monroe major includes a career advancement advisor who knows the 'ins and outs' of that degree and makes sure the curriculum incorporates the skills that are in high demand by employers.
The curriculum developed for each degree program is designed to give you hands-on training in class, in labs and through field trips and guest lecturers.
Business and Accounting
You’ll get national recognition through clubs, participate in networking events, workshops and seminars, and visit Fortune 500 companies.
Allied Health Professions
You’ll work in a fully-functional simulated pharmacy and separate labs for anatomy and physiology, chemistry, microbiology and pharmacy tech.
Criminal Justice
You’ll experience the mock courtroom used for training for the uniformed services, court system and legal profession.

Inside our
Early Childhood Learning Program
This curriculum focuses on issues facing high-needs schools that work with children from diverse backgrounds. You’ll learn the latest methods for promoting early childhood development as well as childhood reading, writing, critical thinking and problem solving.
You’ll learn in simulated patient scenarios and then gain clinical experience with real patients in the community. The curriculum also focuses on delivering culturally competent care, essential for helping patients in diverse communities.
