Work-Study (FWS) is a federally-funded financial aid employment program. To be
eligible you must be a full-time student enrolled in either an undergraduate or
is based on need and is determined by the Free Application for Federal Student
Aid (FAFSA) and the funds available at the time of application. Work-Study
funds are limited and are awarded as funding permits. Students awarded FWS must
attend a mandatory meeting and are emailed hiring packets at the beginning of
the fall semester. Additional packets are available at the Work-Study Job Fair
or in the campus financial aid office.
FWS program mimics the real-life labor market and therefore can be competitive.
Students are encouraged to take the experience seriously. After participating in
this experience, students often have a head start on job search skills which
will only help contribute to future success.
