When she left her native Moldova and came to Monroe several years ago, Alina Nazari had no idea she would one day serve as Monroe's director for academic affairs and ESL coordinator.
Alina studied business, graduating with her Master of Business Administration with a focus on finance in 2011. She is also a member of Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society.
"I immediately had a sense of belonging at Monroe," she says. “I felt we were part of a family and would be well-served here,” she said.
She credits Monroe for giving her the confidence to open new doors and opportunities. “By empowering me with the necessary tools, I’m a better manager and a more effective leader.”
