Mark Your Calendar! 2024 Commencement Will Be Held on June 13th

Big news for the Class of 2024 -- Commencement will take place on Thursday, June 13th, at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

In addition to students completing their degree programs at the end of the Fall 2023 and Winter 2024 semesters, participants will include those on track to complete their programs in August when the Spring 2024 semester ends. While the latter will walk and hear their names called, their degrees will not actually be conferred until all program requirements are met.

In keeping with tradition, there will be a morning ceremony and an afternoon ceremony to accommodate the large number of family and friends expected to share in the graduates’ special day.

Students will be assigned to a specific ceremony based on their academic school. Degree programs are offered through Schools of Allied Health Professions, Business and Accounting, Criminal and Social Justice, Education, Hospitality Management, Information Technology, and Nursing, as well as through King Graduate School.

The Commencement Committee plans to announce which schools are assigned to each ceremony – and the number of guest tickets each graduate will receive – in mid-January to keep graduates and their families abreast of the latest news and information.

Updates will be posted there as well as emailed to graduates’ College email addresses.

Students may send any graduation-related questions to graduation@monroecollege.edu.
