Meet Monroe

Welcome to Monroe’s Virtual Fair!

We’re Monroe — an affordable private college educating 8,000 students annually. Rest assured, you will never feel lost in the crowd at Monroe! Most of our classes have fewer than 30 students — and your professors will know your name. Monroe’s faculty and staff are wholly committed to your success.  They will be your mentors, your advocates, your champions, and your cheerleaders, from the day you apply until the day you graduate — and beyond.

First Year Experience Program (FYE)

Your FYE at Monroe promises to be an exciting time in your life. You will find your first weeks filled with a variety of fun orientation activities to introduce you to Monroe, help you meet new friends, and get you into the routine of campus life. Monroe's FYE advisors are your strongest advocates on campus. They’re relentless in pushing you to believe in yourself and get to the graduation stage.

Graduate in Three Years!

One of Monroe's greatest advantages is its three-semester academic calendar that makes it possible to earn a Bachelor's degree in as little as 3 years! You can earn 51 credits in your first year instead of the traditional 30. How? You will also have the opportunity to take 2 classes in our August Bridge Semester where we dedicate the campus to first year students right before the fall semester begins. Think about that for a minute. You can earn your Bachelor's degree in the same time it takes most people to earn their Associate degree elsewhere - AND still have a total of eight week of vacation time between semesters.
